Returns and Exchanges

We offer a warranty through the lifetime of the product. This means that we will gladly repair or replace your item if there is manufacturers' defect, or if has been damaged through normal use. Items will be replaced if it cannot be repaired. Replacements aren't guaranteed, as we attempt to repair the item first.


Your local luggage repair shops are usually able to complete any necessary repairs (nominal fee may apply). We are not liable for the quality of their repairs. Any repairs, modifications or alterations done by someone other than Expat Travel Gear, voids the warranty.

Shipping charges for returned material is the responsibility of the customer. It is recommended that you use a shipping service that is traceable (eg. FedEx or Canada Post service with a tracking number). Original shipping costs will not be refunded.

To make a return, or have questions about your order, please contact our Customer Service department at: service@expattravelgear.com to arrange for returns and to receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.

It can take up to two weeks for return packages to reach us and to be verified. As soon as your returned package is received and verified, you will be notified via email. Ensure that your RMA number is included in your return shipment to us.

If the exact same item is no longer available, we will replace it with a product that is comparable in price, style and colour.
